Columbine Label Company Gives Back to Community

(CENTENNIAL, Colo. December 16, 2011) – For the fourth year in a row, Columbine Label Company, Inc. has given back to the community with donations to the Arapahoe County Adopt-a-Family Program through the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services.  The custom label producer encourages their employees to donate and the company matches funds dollar for dollar.

Identified families of the Adopt-a-Family program generally consist of children and adults who have been victims of abuse and neglect, or are experiencing financial hardship.

“This year we were able to provide a single mother with three children, ages 9, 12 and 14, with all of the items on their needs list and some items on each of their wants list,” said Columbine Label president Greg Jackson.  “Columbine Label is proud to support such an important community organization that changes lives in Arapahoe County.”

Last year Columbine Label began sponsoring a teenager through the Adopt-a-Family program.  This sponsorship provides the teen with monetary gifts throughout the year to help her with needs and wants such as school supplies, clothes and a season pass to Elitch Gardens.

Columbine Label also makes annual donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Denver-based Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

Great American Beer Festival

(CENTENNIAL, Colo. September 23, 2011) – Columbine Label Company, Inc. is exhibiting at the 30th annual 2011 Great American Beer Festivalâ (GABF), taking place Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 in Denver, Colo. The company holds an Industry Level Sponsorship and will provide pre-printed keg collars for the 466 U.S. breweries exhibiting at the event.

(CENTENNIAL, Colo. August 26, 2011) – Columbine Label Company, Inc. recently hired Brett Borzsei in the newly created position of Estimating and Project Management. His responsibilities will include inventory control, product shipping coordination, working with material vendors, preparing estimates for the sales team and oversight of production flow activities.

Borzsei, originally from Niles, Mi., is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University (WMU). He specialized in print science and business technology within the Department of Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Imaging. Prior to his enrollment at WMU, Borzsei received a certificate from the College of Technology at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mi., with a minor in the field of technology. His concentration was in technology, web animation and digital graphic design.

Borzsei’s professional experience includes retail work Underground Printing, and an internship at Graphic Packaging, Inc. His education and work experience provided him with the technical knowledge and skills necessary to manage a variety of printing and design projects.
